No title necessary.

A very "classy" weekly dinner!
Another classic from the Parsons Vault.
So for a long time, my dream was to meet "the one" in a grocery store. You know.. like while checking out the prices between Tribe and Sabra humus, and trying to find out which one has the best grams of protein / price ratio (yesss I do that in the store) and have a beautiful girl come up from behind, and say "I think you should try the Cedars Organic Original Humus this week, it's on sale " But sadly you can't meet the person you want in a grocery store. Just try asking Brianna, lets just say it doesnt work. But meeting the person you would do anything for is very important. And also how you met them is very important. If you don't have "a good story" when people has you how you met, you are going to seem lame. So having a good "How you met"  story is very important. So I have already met the person  I want to be with, and we have a pretty good "how you got into a relationship story" Here it goes:

Possibly the best dessert I've ever had...
So back in 2010, Brianna and I both decided that the US wasn't doing it for us and decided to take our junior year at Loyola to Bangkok, Thailand. This was a pretty radical decision that would pit both of us over 8000 miles from our home, our families, and everything we knew to be normal.  During our 6 month semester in Asia, while traveling to Vietnam, Laos, Indonesia, Singapore, Nepal, and Hong Kong, our paths rarely crossed. That was a time for individual growth, and we both did what we needed to do, to get to the places we wanted to get to. Then coming back to Loyola for our junior year, we were settled into a similar friend group, so we did hang out at the occasional party or wine wednesday soirre. Then came the summer. A time to frolic, a time to mingle, and a time to find those great summer loves.  My main man Dave and I had nothing to do for the 4th of July, so we decided there was nothing better to do than roadtrip to Beaufort, South Carolina. We had a couple extra seats in the car so we decide to invite our friends Bri and Hilary. South Carolina was great. We had one of the most memorable trips I think I will ever go on. Bri and I didn't do anything there except to get to know one another, and start laying the foundation to something great that was to come a little later on.
Our "first" Valentines Day
After our friends had "fallen asleep" (clearly passed the F out) we snuck and broke into the neighbors pool, just to feel like a couple of badasses, and spent the night just walking around talking about life, and enjoying the things around us.
Nothing to say about this one.....
Then fast forward a few weeks later in the summer back to Baltimore... We were out at one of Baltimore's coolest bars, The Brewer's Art just having a few of their amazing in house brewed beers. Ozzie's in fact.  And you know when a couple of kids have a few too many and come back and put on "knocked up" it's clear no one really wants to watch the movie.....
So I guess a nice of casual night of drinking Ozzie's at Brewer's Art, lead to a month of courting, which took us from the North End of Boston and one of the nicest dinners i have ever had, to a swim with Hurricane Irene in Bridgewater, to the beaches of Pronvincetown on Cape Cod. It was certainly one of the more fun months I have had in my life. Pure frolicking, with no strings attached. Just a couple of people who didn't know the right words to say to one another and all they could do was Mamihlapinatapai.

Would I ever date someone who couldn't
successfully shotgun a beer?
And Bri.....the answer to the question from your blog from the other day is a 100% YES. What other person would I want to be with and spend so much of my time with and dream of doing the same for so much longer.

You are the one who I look to when times are dark, you are the one I shine with when times are bright.

"Steady As We Go"
I walk half way around the world,
Just to sit down by your side.
And I would do most anything girl,
To be the apple of your eye.

Troubles they may come and go,
But good times they are the gold.
And if this road gets rocky girl,
Just steady as we go.

Any place you wanna go,
Know I'll be next to you.
If it's treasure baby you're looking for,
I'll search the whole world through.

Know troubles they may come and go,
But good times they're the gold.
So if the road gets rocky girl,
Just steady as we go.

When the storm comes,
You shelter me.
And I don't say a word,
And you know exactly what I mean.
In the darkest times,
You shine on me.
You set me free.
And keep me steady as we go.

So if your heart rings dry my love,
I will fill your cup.
And if your load gets heavy girl,
I will lift you up.

Troubles they may come and go,
But good times be the gold.
So if this road gets rocky girl,
Just steady as we go.

Ah
Hold me,
Shine on me.
Oh, shine, shine,
Shine on me.
Shine, shine
Yeah shine on me.
Hey shine.

Matching and Looking Good!
