So today is the last day of my first week of teaching, and heck, it's going pretty well. So we have been here for 12 days now, and the time has been going by quickly, but i still wish i was with you B. It is really hard doing something that you enjoy, when you are away from the one you love. I feel that this song captures the mood of how i'm feeling right now. You know me, i just love love, and it is hard to do that when your 8000 miles away. All i need right now is a big hug....and maybe some late night hot chocolate!

Hope the "villa" is coming together.

This is a good one Ms. Kelliher... not your particular style, but listen to the lyrics. We have seen a lot together, from the beaches of cape cod to the mountain of north carolina, from the sketch balls in atlantic city, and the ladyboys in bangkok. And we are still waiting to make that trip DOWN SOUTH....cma's perhaps??  But i will always be there for you, like you have done for me. We all know you are the rock in our relationship, but all rocks eventually crack. And i will be the first one there to try to patch things up. In this song, the dark represents the uncertainty of things in life and in relationships. And when you are 8614 miles away from someone....there is a bit of uncertainty, so i want to say that no matter how uncertain or fearful things may be, i will hold strong and follow you. What keeps us going is our feelings and our memories. I want to see the world with you, maybe even calgary someday...eh?

It all started in South Carolina....

The song that defines a relationship..... every relationship needs one. And Brianna, this is clearly our jam. Night or day, car ride or Craigs, this gets my feet moving like nothing else. I guess the 14 hour car ride to Beaufort, or the bar where this seemed to continuously play seemed to imprint this song in my brain forever. So I hope moving into your apartment was an easy process, even if it was in the rain! So whenever you see this, get up, get moving, and do something great today. You are the passion that keeps me going, so you better get on my level. And remember i am there to give you everything tonight...well not tonight, but in like 250 nights.

Music Fuels Love...

Music is something that fuels the fire of love, and can often speak to the soul. Songs put things in the simplest of ways, and allow the music to do the loving. In long distance relationships, you obviously cannot be around the person on a daily basis, so that is where music comes in. Music can transend space and time, so when two lovers are not in the same space music can fill the void. 

This Blog is set up for a beautiful girl in Baltimore who needs a little loving through music. So each day i will post a song that shows a different side of our relationship.
